Never really baked before?  Don't have anyone to show you how?  Well we can!

Learn baking basics with our qualified patisserie chef in the state-of-the-art Edmonds Baking School.


What you'll learn

  • Learn to successfully make and bake a beautiful chocolate cake with step-by-step instructions
  • Be shown how to cut and fill cakes to take them to the next level
  • Make a delicious ginger crunch slice 
  • Learn what to look out for and what to do if things go a bit wrong!
  • Learn our top tips for successful baking

What you get:

  • Take your delicious cake home in a presentation box
  • Take your yummy slice all cut ready to be eaten in a presentation box
  • Recipes to practice at home

On the day

  • Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
  • Bring a can-do attitude!
  • Water bottle to stay hydrated
  • Nothing else - your Edmonds apron, equipment and ingredients are all supplied
  • There is free parking available 

This class is strictly for 13+ years. We can accommodate a slightly younger baker if a paying adult is booked in the class as well but please check with us first. Please note we are unable to cater for alternate dietary requirements. All our recipes use Edmonds Flour or Edmonds Self-Raising Flour and Chelsea Sugar. We do not have any nuts in our baking school. We are happy to send the ingredients list for any class if you would like to check anything.

Cancellation Policy:
Due to ingredient, preparation and labor costs incurred in advance of the class, cancellation of attendance must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance or payment becomes non-refundable.


No-shows or last minute cancellations are not refunded


Should the class chef be unavailable to conduct their baking class due to personal reasons or illness, all attendees for that class will be notified at the time.
