Learn to make these light and delicious lamingtons in the Edmonds Baking School with our Patisserie Chef!

Have fun and enjoy a two-hour session making a light and fluffy sponge and then finishing it off with chocolate and strawberry and coconut toppings! Yum! There are only 10 spots available - so book now!

This class is suitable for children aged 13+ years as they work on their own and fine motor skills are required. 


What you will learn

  • How to make a traditional light and fluffy sponge
  • How to make the two flavoured toppings
  • How to coat the sponge in all the topping and coconut deliciousness!
  • How to whip mascapone and cream, pipe and fill and decorate your lamingtons like a professional
  • How to work cleanly and hygienically in the kitchen

Important Information

  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to check-in.
  • This class is strictly for 13+ years. 
  • We can accommodate a slightly younger baker if a paying adult is booked in the class as well but please check with us first. 
  • Dietary Requirements: We are unable to accommodate alternate dietary needs, but there are no nuts in the school’s recipes. If needed, we can provide a list of ingredients before the class

• Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes. Tie back long hair for safety.
• Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Cancellation Policy
Due to ingredient, preparation and labor costs incurred in advance of the class, cancellation of attendance must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance or payment becomes non-refundable. ded. Should the class chef be unavailable to conduct their baking class due to personal reasons or illness, all attendees for that class will be notified at the time. No-shows or last minute cancellations are not refunded
