Learn to bake the classic Victoria Sponge with our qualified patisserie chef in the state-of-the-art Edmonds Baking School.


Experience a 2-hour, fun, hands-on class where you will:

  • Learn to successfully make and bake a light fluffy sponge
  • Make a delicious berry compote filling
  • Be shown how to finish and layer this very special cake with different design options
  • Make the perfect cream texture to complete your cake

What to bring:
  • A fun, can-do attitude!
  • A water bottle to keep you hydrated while you bake
  • Nothing else - your apron, equipment and ingredients are all supplied

This class is strictly for 13+ years. We can accommodate a slightly younger baker if a paying adult is booked in the class as well but please check with us first. Please note we are unable to cater for alternate dietary requirements. This recipe use Edmonds Flour or Edmonds Self-Raising Flour and Chelsea Sugar. We do not have any nuts in our baking school. We are happy to send the ingredients list for any class if you would like to check anything.
