Learn to make a traditional Black Forest Gateaux and experience a 2.5 hour, hands-on class with our patisserie chef in the state-of-the-art Edmonds Baking School.

Important: This Class Is for Bakers Aged 16 Years and Up.

Due to the advanced techniques and pace of this class, all participants must be 16 years or older. These sessions require a higher level of focus, independence, and hands-on skill development
than our standard baking classes. Age may be verified on arrival.

What you'll learn

• Learn to successfully make traditional black forest gateau
• Step-by-step instructions will be provided with demonstrations by our expert patisserie chef
  
• Make and bake a delicious chocolate sponge
• You will make the Morello cherry mixture, chocolate cream filling and cream 
• Fill with delicious sour cherries and cream
• Learn to pipe the cream into spirals, decorating with shaved chocolate and cherries

Important Information

• Please arrive 10 minutes prior to check-in.
• This class is strictly for 16+ years.
• Dietary Requirements: We are unable to accommodate alternate dietary needs, but there are no nuts in the school’s recipes. If needed, we can provide a list of ingredients before the class

Cancellation Policy
Due to ingredient, preparation and labor costs incurred in advance of the class, cancellation of attendance must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance or payment becomes non-refundable.  Should the class chef be unavailable to conduct their baking class due to personal reasons or illness, all attendees for that class will be notified at the time. No-shows or last minute cancellations are not refunded
