Let the kids have fun and enjoy a 2-hour hands-on baking lesson in the state-of-the-art Edmonds Baking School

WHAT'S INVOLVED:

• Cupcake & Cookies, which is recommended for 8-9 year olds 

• Cupcakes with Buttercream Icing, which is recommended for 10+ years
  
  

Cupcakes with Buttercream icing option:

Everyone will make and bake six, light and fluffy vanilla cupcakes each

They will learn to make smooth and silky buttercream icing and how to colour using gel colours

Then become an expert at filling a piping bag, learning about different nozzles and then testing it out before designing their final creations
Decorate their six cupcakes with beautiful buttercream icing and sprinkles


Party Requirements:
To hire the room for a birthday party it's a minimum of 8 children, maximum of 12. Changes to participant numbers can be made up to 48 hours prior.
All children must be aged at least 8 years +
Party times are Saturday 9.30am-11.30am or Sunday 9.30am-11.30am.  
Cost is $55.00 per person – full payment is required by credit card upon booking. You may cancel more than 7 days prior to receive a full refund.
We respectfully ask that parents do not stay in the room during the lesson - you're welcome at the beginning and come back at the end to take some cool party photos!
Note: we also have floor to ceiling glass doors so you can check on how they are going during the lesson
Please note we are unable to cater for alternate dietary requirements. All our recipes use Edmonds Flour or Edmonds Self-Raising Flour and Chelsea Sugar. We do not have any nuts in our baking school. We are happy to send the ingredients list for any class if you would like to check anything.

CATERING (OPTIONAL): 

• The Edmonds Baking School can be made available to you for 30 minutes following the class at no cost for your party to enjoy catering from Sugar Café, or for a simple birthday cake celebration if you wish. Please note the room must be vacated by 12pm to allow time to set up for our next class.
• All food must be supplied by Sugar Café however you are welcome to bring in your own cake if you prefer at a cost of $10.00 and we will supply the plates, napkins and knife. No other outside food is accepted at Chelsea Bay
  
• You have the option to select catering when booking or tick the box if you require more time and we’ll email you the order form 
  
  SUGAR CAFÉ CATERING MENU:  Booked with 7 days’ notice, minimum order 6 pieces
  
• Savoury filled wraps served on a platter = $12 per person
• Mini warm savouries served on a platter (eg sausage rolls, pies) = $4.00 per
